HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - Feb. 2, 2010 - Jeff Jervik, president and CEO of Fitness Together Holdings, Inc. will speak at the International Franchise Association's Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas, on Feb. 6.

Jervik will participate in a panel discussion on "Communicating for Success - Fostering Positive Franchisor/Franchisee Relationships."

Jervik has personally managed an evolution in how the Franchise Support Center communicates with its franchise owners across the U.S. and in foreign countries. Today, Fitness Together and Elements Therapeutic Massage utilize video messaging from the home office, frequent webinars, monthly electronic newsletters and regular group teleconferences.  Regional conferences have been introduced for franchise executives to meet with and train franchisees and staff members at the grassroots level.  Both brands have adopted Franchise Leadership Councils to foster stronger communications. Franchise Training has welcomed existing franchise owners back to corporate headquarters for advanced training. Social media outlets for the parent company have been promoted at the studio level. And franchisees have been encouraged to take an active role in several subcommittees designed to develop new services and products.
