HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Nov. 9, 2009 – Fitness Together Franchise Corp. has expanded its franchise development team to include four new Field Sales Directors who will support the company’s aggressive national expansion campaign and manage the recent influx of franchise leads.

“Health and wellness are becoming increasingly more important to Americans,” said Bob Haimes, executive vice president and chief growth officer of Fitness Together. “We want to ensure a solid sales team is in place to accommodate entrepreneurs looking to capitalize on this growing market.”

The Field Sales Directors report to Tom DeLosa, senior vice president and chief franchise development officer for Fitness Together Franchise Corp. DeLosa started with the company as a personal trainer 12 years ago and worked his way up through management. He brings experience at both the grassroots level and an executive level within the company to his new added role of overseeing the Field Sales Director team. Each team member has been assigned a specific region in the U.S.

Lance Freeman will oversee franchise development efforts in 11 states that make up the Western Region. With a 17-year background as a Fitness Together franchisee, Freeman is also an area director for the company. In his 10 years as an area director, Freeman is responsible for the addition of more than 40 franchisees to the Fitness Together system.

Michael Hall was awarded the Midwest Region and will oversee 14 states within his territory. Hall co-owns three Fitness Together studios in Ohio and has been with Fitness Together since 2006. He holds a personal trainer accreditation from the National Personal Training Institute.

Don Carpenter was awarded the Southeastern Region, and will oversee franchise development efforts in 15 states. Carpenter has been with Fitness Together for 11 years and is an area director. Carpenter also spearheaded a franchise expansion effort by working with the State of Texas Economic Development Division to connect with foreign investors in Mexico earlier this year.
Scott Thompson, Fitness Together studio owner and former area director, will oversee the Northeast Region, which includes 10 states. Thompson began his career with Fitness Together as a personal trainer and went on to own a franchise in Dedham, Mass. that became the third top-producing Fitness Together Franchise in the nation. In his role as area director, Thompson was the top franchise sales person in the network in 2006.
