Leadership Team

Scott.jpg

Scott White
CEO and Co-Founder

A journalist who went from sportswriting to agency-building, we say Scott went to the majors in our industry. Former president of the Texas Public Relations Association, he divides his time serving on boards (um, you might even call him a tree-hugger) while making our biggest and best clients even bigger and better.  And while he says he has no pet peeves, we dare anyone to ask for his thoughts on the value of using “impressions and reach” as a measurement tool.

Sarah.jpg

Sarah Lofdahl

It’s a small world after all! A former Disney cast member who traded in her pixie dust for a life in Texas, Sarah returns to the agency as eager as ever. (She was a former BizCom intern we had to have back full-time!) Sarah is an LSU Tiger fan who loves iced vanilla lattes and chocolate frosted donuts. And it’s extra sweet that she is ready to take on any challenge. Her love for writing isn’t her only skill. She’s our video-editing fanatic who loves to bring a new edge to the PR world.

Nicole Traycoff.jpg

Nicole Traycoff

Although she was born on the East Coast, Nicole has called many other geographic locations her home as she’s pursued her life goals. But her heart remains in Texas where she’s provided senior-level public relations counsel and integrated marketing strategies to a vast range of clients and global brands. Her most proud moment in her career was putting on her hard hat and steel-toed boots to publicize the construction of our country’s powerful national landmark and the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere — the One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Outside of her creative agency workspace, you will find her volunteering for animal rescue organizations and enjoying the arts and live music with friends..

Andrew (1).jpg

Andrew DeBellevue

BizCom's Easy Rider turned Easy Writer, Andrew brings creativity, street smarts and ideas that are off the beaten path to his client campaigns. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a major in public relations and a minor in political science, Andrew can usually be found on his motorcycle when not managing client programs or hammering away on the keyboard. His most immediate goal is to purchase a Ural motorcycle with a sidecar so he and his dog, Kevin, can go on misadventures around the country.

Monica.jpg

Monica Feid
President and Co-Founder

Born in Boston, raised in Texas, employed in NYC and now a longtime Dallas girl, Monica’s talents include getting award-winning results for clients and never saying anything is “wicked smart, y’all.” She has turned social media into an art form and is the news media’s best friend, living and working with headlines as her goal and counting national TV and reality shows, co-writing client books, and making clients famous the perks of her career.

August.jpg

August Anderson

Originally from Atlanta, this Georgia Peach fit right in with our Texas crew before heading to Chicago. And our agency work blew north to the Windy City too! While the snow and negative temperatures have been an adjustment, our Chicago presence is red hot in her hands. A former member of her college dance team, August knows all the right moves not only on the dance floor but also in the PR world. Her knack for research and passion for strategy not only earned her a master’s degree, but also brought her to BizCom where she’s always looking for the most effective ways to exceed client expectations. And before you ask … No, she does not have a sister named September..

Emily.jpg

Emily Busskohl

Riding the waves all the way from California to Texas, Emily joins the agency with sand between her toes and an eagerness to use her passion for writing as a way to share our clients’ stories. A graduate of TCU with a degree in Strategic Communication, Emily is a proud Horned Frog and now considers herself a native Texan. When she isn’t taking on new client challenges, you can find Emily exploring the city of Dallas with her friends or trying as many healthy restaurants she can find.

Loren Brown BW.jpeg

Loren Brown

While she may be a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Loren is a Texas girl at heart and excited to be back south of the Red River and working in her home state. When she’s not pitching the news media to generate publicity for BizCom’s world-class roster of global clients, Loren enjoys shopping and traveling to new places. Her college experience wasn’t all Boomer Sooner, however. She also studied abroad in the United Kingdom in 2019 and is eager to cross “the pond" again.

Melissa.jpg

Melissa Rubin

Our Yankee-in-Residence, Melissa has repped some of the best brands for PR agencies in New York and New Jersey. But her heart and the real estate bonanza led her move to Texas!  Today she wears many important hats including: wife, mom, PR guru, and HGTV “Fixer Upper” junkie. When she is not winning national headlines for clients, she is perfecting life as a Texan better than most natives.

Lauren Caracciolo.jpeg

Lauren Caracciolo

Look what the wind blew in! Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Lauren left the Windy City for Texas after graduating from Saint Mary’s College. Even though she prefers to say, “you guys” instead of “y’all,” she is still embracing all The Lone Star State has to offer – especially the warmer winters! Lauren manages BizCom’s Media Relations Division and when she is not securing local and national headlines for our clients, she can probably be found obsessing over Notre Dame football or spending time with her fiancé, Christian.

Elise Patterson BW.jpeg

Elise Patterson

Our artist-in-residence, Elise is responsible for creating the one-of-a-kind graphics and social content for Digital BizCom clients. A graduate of Texas State University's honors program, majoring in English and Mass Communication, Elise packed up and moved cross-country to Chicago to pursue her passions in graphic design, illustration, and deep-dish pizza. When not at the BizCom drawing board, Elise spends her free time doing crochet, pottery, and just about any other creative hobby she can find.

Agency History

The agency was formed in 1999 by a group of PR professionals who wanted to create an agency that delivered the expertise and results of a large agency but the speed, flexibility and energy typically only available through a small, boutique agency. We wanted to create an agency that would attract innovative, visionary clients with great stories to tell and provide them with affordable access to experienced, senior level public relations and marketing communications  professionals.
