Paintings aren’t the only thing on display at Pinot’s Palette headquarters in Houston these days. That’s because it feels like awards season for the fastest-growing paint and sip chain in the world.
In recent weeks, Co-founders Craig Ceccanti, Charles Willis and Beth Willis were honored for a second time on the LSU 100 list. The prestigious list, created by the school’s Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, annually honors the 100 fastest-growing LSU-owned or LSU-led businesses in the world.

Pinot’s Palette awards pile up
That was followed by the company’s appearance as one of the fastest-growing private companies on the Inc. 5000 list. Pinot’s Palette ranked 1756 on the 2016 list after celebrating a record year of franchise expansion in 2015, adding 59 new studios to the map and realizing an overall 212% growth within the last three years.
Then Pinot’s Palette was named to the Franchise Times Top 200+ ranking – a first for the young brand that now stretches across 180+ studios open and under development. While this marked the 20th year for the magazine to publish the ranking, Pinot’s Palette only began franchising in 2010 and has quickly proven its national prominence. Franchise systems had to show a minimum of $23 million in system-wide sales just to make this year’s list.
Finally, the latest hoorah to add to all of this was the Houston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” honor for Pinot’s Palette Co-founder and President Charles Willis. With more than 500 nominees up for consideration, Willis and the track record at Pinot’s Palette were very worthy of making the cut! Plus, it came complete with high school photos of this year’s honorees –- a true “where are they now” tribute that befits some great leaders.
Winning awards is a winning PR strategy
We love a cluttered trophy case! Awards are both a wonderful honor and an attractive recruiting tool for further success across a rapidly-expanding network. That’s evident in the growing team at Pinot’s Palette HQ supporting the organization [hint: they recently had to expand office space at HQ!] as well as the quality and quantity of franchise prospects who are interested in joining the system.
These most recent awards mean great brand awareness, well-deserved praise, and more unabashed love for our client and the Pinot’s Palette motto to “Paint. Drink. Have Fun.”
